MetalWorks – P16 Panel is a 3″ tall panel that can be run with a 16″ or a 12″ wide face. Typically, the finished color will be visible on the bottom side of the panel, but these can be run with the finish on the inside/top of the panel. These panels are ideal for long spans required for modern canopies due to their structural quality. These panels are usually installed as unhung panels using our Deck Clips. The MetalWorks 3” panels are the same type as the MBCI Classic Series.
*The Miami-Dade County approval is only on the P16 x .038 galvalume Embossed.
MetalWorks – SNAPLOCK PANEL is a 2.5” tall x 12” Wide Panel that can be run out of 24G or 22G. Generally stocked in White Smooth or White Embossed pre-painted galvanized or galvalume. These panels are the same as the Grand Prix panel, the MBCI Qwiklok, or the Superior Mason E-Z Lock Flat Panel. They are usually installed from below as a soffit-type panel using tex screws versus a deck clip.
Panel Protection – Each panel is covered with a protective sheet of plastic to help prevent rubbing and to keep them clean until installed.
P16 Panel Packaging – Panels are bundled together and 100% wrapped using a Lantec stretch wrapper. P16 and Snaplock bundles are marked with a bundle tag, and then 2″ x 4″ wood racks are added at every 10′ interval throughout the length of the bundle.
